YVONNE JACKSON: I'm Trouble CD Ichiban Rec. 1991

The blues singer Yvonne Jackson promises to be one of the last years's most exciting discoveries. The American press recently described Jackson as 'a gutsy, no nonsense vocalist, sure to establish herself as one of the most flamboyant blues sirens on the scene today'. Yvonne Jackson started her career as a background singer for Rufus Thomas, Lucky Peterson, the J.B. Horns and the King Snake Revue. On her debut album 'I'm Trouble' she is aptly assisted by the likes of Maceo Parker and Fred Wesley.
