Bootsy heads back to his Seventies sound here, with a couple of great tunes ("Wide Track" with the Horny Horns, "Back N The Day"), and an homage to Eddie Hazel, who died in 1992. The rest of the record is recycled from his earlier work--it's effective, but you keep feeling like you've listened to this record before. (DBW)
